Brave Beth
One Rainy day a girl named Beth, was running home from the Mall as fast as she could because she didn’t want the rain to mess up her hair, and get her makeup smeared. She was very far from home when all of a sudden she tripped on a rock. She got back up, but when I did I fell down. “Ahh, I think I twisted my leg!” It was 10:00 at night so no one was to be found. But Beth saw an old couple coming towards me, so I thought she would ask them for help. “Hey Gorge; I never knew the circus was in town.” Said the old woman, the old man responded. “I guess it's a run-away clown!” What were they talking about? Circus? Run-away clown? Suddenly I hit me! It’s my makeup!! “Umm…can you help me?” I said. “Help a clown? Well I’m sorry but we have never helped a clown!” I was so frustrated! “I’m not a CLOWN! My makeup just got smeared by the rain!!” “Hah! That joke was hilarious! Well we need to go. Bye now.” Hmm… what could I do? I was so far away from home; my home is probably an hour walk. I don't have any money or a cell phone…just bags full of clothes. I guess my only option is to walk it, or in my case limp it. Wait a second! I’m going to take a while to walk home! My parent might get worried! All of a sudden the police came speeding around the corner! A rusty red car stopped I front of me! I was stuck in a car chase!! “Get out of the car and place your hand on your head.” Uh-oh! The police slowly got out of the car with their guns pointing towards the man. The man quickly approached me, put his arm around my neck and pointed his gun strait to my brain. “I will shoot the girl if you try to do anything t me.” What do I do?!?! I thought. The police man said, “Anything you say or do will be you against you in court.” By now I was sweating like crazy! It started to rain more powerful, everything got blurry. I started to see people crowding around me. The man started to walk backwards still clinging to my neck with his arm. My leg was bursting in pain! He started to speed up. I couldn’t handle walking this fast my twisted leg. More police showed up, making a circle around him, and I. I tripped because I slipped in a puddle the man shot the gun! It hit a police man! I fell down but when I did I cracked my head. That's all I could remember because when I woke up I was lying on a hospital bed, with wires attached to me. I couldn’t speak because when I fell I hit a nerve in my brain that allows me to speak. Now I live writing everything out. Aurelle :0)
