WHISTLER!
Last summer in the middle of August my family went to Whistler. The sun shone brightly in the sky. Once awhile there was a breeze. It was a perfect day to go hiking at Whistler Mountain or Blackcomb Mountain. My favorite part was on Whistler Mountain. I rode a gondola and a sky chair to the top of the mountain. The sky chair was scary since your dangling 500 feet above the ground. At the top of the mountain there was still snow and there were a bunch of rocks and I made an inuksuk from the rocks and a bunch of people also did. I still have the photos today and I might go to Whistler again this summer!

ReplyDeleteI liked your story! I have been to whistler many times before and its so fun!
ReplyDeleteHow long did you stay?
ReplyDeleteSome really nice images here Judy. This would be a great piece to expand using the rule of "thoughts and feelings". How did it feel being confronted with mountains of such immensity? What did you think as you danged above mountain ridges, supported only by the slim arm of the gently swinging chair. These would be interesting moments for a reader to hear about!
ReplyDeleteA great start!
Was this the first time you visted Whistler?
ReplyDeleteReally good story Judy!
You used lots of show dont tell and it was very discriptive!!
