Important Memories with my Fish

Imagine that three thousand years ago in the fish world, there was a rock pyramid where are treasure boxes, luxuries, golden rings and charming jewels were hidden. Three years ago there were two stone colour fish brothers. The big brother’s name was killer Hunter and the younger brother was named Knight Hunter. Killer, Knight and their adventure team found the ancient rock pyramid with old and dirty rockweed on it. They dug and discovered the treasures. But Knight’s avaricious brother killer wanted to have all the luxuries. Killer pinched at his teammate and chewed the others. Knight pierced Killer with his sword. A drib of blood dropped on the ground. Knight and his teammate took the treasures and went back and lived with their family in happiness.
Isn’t that an interesting story? Actually that story is a quarter true. Even that was about three years ago, I can taste the memories I had with my huge fish tank that had a silver frame on the side and the bunch of fish used to lived in the fish tank.
The true story began on the Saturday night. My whole big family and I were at my granduncle’s house. We ate lunch and dinner together and we played games or talked together after. After dinner time I saw my granduncle was feeding his fish. He is a real crazy fish fan. He got two extra huge fish tank and a normal huge one. I watched the pretty fish swimming in the box with their babies. Suddenly I thought I wanted to have some fish. When I was thinking and staring at the fish tank. My uncle was looking at me, and he seems to notice my mind. He taped my shoulder and asked me, “Wendie, do you want to take that fish tank home?” he pointed to the fish tank on the table. “You can take that any time you want. Because I don’t need that any more.” I nodded and said, “Okay!” I took the fish tank home. The next day I woke up early at seven o’clock. I was ecstatic! I washed the fish tank and filled it with water. My parents woke up soon. I asked my dad to go to the pet shop together. He said, “Okay!” We bought ten fish. There’re two stone colour fish, two red ones, two black ones and four of the ones that got black body and yellow tail.
I put all fish in the fish tank, they swam around and looked normal. So I went back to my room. Suddenly my dad yelled, “Your grey fish is biting the other fish!” I ran as fast as I could to the living room. The stone colour fish had bitten three small fish and the small fish were dead. I filled my red bucket with water and I called it “jail”. I wanted to catch the stone colour fish who bi the other fish and the normal stone colour fish, because he was a suspect. I tried to use my fish net to catch the killer, but he was smart. He hid behind the rock pyramid and the machine that blew air bubbles. Finally my hand caught it and I put it in the jail with his “brother”. The normal grey fish looks like killer’s brother. After that I decided to name mine fish. The stone colour fish that bit others is named killer. The other stone colour fish is called knight.
The next day I saw that killer looked sick, he was half dead half alive. He was sure in pain. Abruptly I saw knight bite his brother, after about thirty second Killer died. I was really wondering if Knight is Killer’s brother. If Knight is, he’s probability didn’t want to see his brother to die in too much pain, so he choose d to let his brother die quicker. Or because killer bit too many other fish, Knight wanted to help other fish. After a few days I released Knight from the jail and every thing was normal again. My fish died after a few months one by one. Knight lived for the longest. But any ways my story was based on this. Believe it or not is your choice. But it was always a good memory, like a star on the midnight sky of my heart.

  1. A very imaginative retelling. Fish, sadly, don't fare well in the longevity department.
