My first NHL game
My brother and I were walking home from school and we stopped at town pantry and got slurpies. When we got home I had to go to the wash room and my brother went upstairs to talk to my mom. She he told him really good news so he said come up here “NOW!!!!!!!!” I said "NO I AM IN THE WASH ROOM!!!". He said to come up when I was done so when I came up he said "WE HAVE CANUCK TICKETS!!!". I said "yes!!!". I asked how we got them. We went to a meeting and if you went we would get Canuck tickets so we went to the meeting. The game was on March 14 and it was only the end of January. A few months later…………….
Hey cory want ice cream. Yes he said with a smile. So when we were there I got dibs and cory got a drum stick. It just started when we got back then GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was 3-1 at the end for Canucks. Then are parents came to pick me and my brother up. When we got home we had to go to bed because it was school the next day and it was late. So that is my first NHL game.

How excited!
ReplyDeleteCool! Who was the cunacks going aginst??
ReplyDeleteSadly, I don't remember my first NHL game. Perhaps it's because when I was young I didn't really care for hockey. I remember my grandfathers and my dad getting really excited about games on the television, while I just sat wishing they would turn the channel to something more interesting! It wasn't until I started collecting hockey cards in grade 7 that I really started to take interest. After that my friends and I tried to go to as many games as possible!
ReplyDeleteYou might decide to revisit this topic in the future, and if you do I have a few suggestions. Since the big idea here seems to be the excitement of attending your first game, It would be interesting to hear you reflect upon the images, sounds, and feelings that you experienced for the first time. GM place is a busy, colourful and cacophonous place, and it must have been quite an emotional experience taking all of that in for the first time! Even now, after having gone to many games, I still get goose bumps when I hear the sound of the crowd after a goal is scored. This piece would benefit greatly from your thoughts and feelings, and from your descriptions of the events you witnessed!
I look forward to reading your next piece!
Seems exciting i've never been on a real life game just nothing ! i guess it's cuz i'm not really interested in that.Same as my WHOLE family!
